Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special _ meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the tete, day of
December 1987. The following members were present: ,

The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 831
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL
DEEP WELL NO. 8 - PROJECT NO. 625
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Layne Western Company, Inc. as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Deep Well No. 8, City Project
No. 625, said agreement being dated October 30, 1966; and `
WHEREAS, the Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc., has
certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for
payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $72,386.00 and the
value of the work completed was $81,224.00.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Deep Well No.
8 and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable
be the same is hereby released from the contract except as
to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal
rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of
faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of
$10,377.75 to Layne Western Company, Inc. for Deep Well No.
8 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby
authorised and directed to pay the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following

The following voted against or abstained: Nene
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
