HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-830CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of December , 1987. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou- Zitisr, rrain and Sick , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 830 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 1 AND FINAL CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING CO. RD. 6 WATER STANDPIPE WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Enterprise Decorating as contractor, have entered into an agreement for cleaning, repairing and painting of the Co. Rd. 6 water standpipe, said agreement being dated August 21, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Engineer, AEC, Inc., has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, hINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $49,461.00 and the value of the work completed was $51,091.00. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for cleaning, repairing and painting of the Co. Rd. 6 water standpipe and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable be the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 1 and Final in the amount of $51,091.00 to Enterprise Decorating for cleaning, repairing and painting of the Co. Rd. 6 water standpipe is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
