HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-817CITY OF PLYMOUTH s Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of December , 1987. The following members were present; Mayor Schneider. Counci members Vasiliou , Zitur_ Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Counriimemhnr Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 817 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - GONYEA'S 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents in the Gonyea's 3rd Addition requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Gonyea's 3rd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on December 7, 1987 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This dec:aration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recose nded. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CoUn.ilmemher Zi ur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. .
