Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of
December 1987. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Co ncilm mhers Vasilinn. Zftjr, Crain and gjS1 ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 815
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION
EASEMENTS FOR PONDING PURPOSES
LOT 1, BLOCK 1 COTTONWOOD PLAZA ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Richard Brokke of Powell -Lincoln-Mercury
has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following easement for
ponding purposes:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Cottonwood
Plaza; thence South 03 degrees 09 minutes 17 seconds East, assumed
bearing, along the east line of said Lot 1 a distance of 30.00
feet to the point of beginning of the easement to be described;
thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 26 seconds West 44.68 feet;
thence South 0 degrees 02 minutes 34 seconds West 65.00 feet;
thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 26 seconds West 60.00 feet;
thence South 0 degrees 02 minutes 34 seconds West 125.00 feet;
thence South 89 degrees 57 minutes 26 seconds East 115.00 feet to
the east line of said Lot 1; thence Northerly along said east line
to the point of beginning.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same
to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
January 11, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center,
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provide by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmember- 3(asi1inu, Zit»r ,
Crain and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: NnnP
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
