. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of December
1987. The following members were present: Moor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasi iou
Zitur. Crain and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Couneilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 794
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
FERNBROOK WOODS ADDITION
PROJECT NO. 720
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Fernbrook Woods
Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, aggregate base
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Ceca Utilities of Burnsville, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
Resolution No. 87-794
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Ceca Utilities, Inc. of Burnsville,
Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of
Fernbrook Woods Addition, Project No. 720 according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of
$246,403.70.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
