HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-750CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of November , 1987. The following members were present: m , Mayor Schneider. Councilembers Vasilion, Crain and , The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur *e* tit +ter Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its ajoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 750 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN TRAIL EASEMENTS IN LOTS 1 THROUGH 4, BLOCK 1 CARLSON CENTER FIFTH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain trail easemnts in Carlson Center Fifth Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November 16, 1987, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of November 16, 1907; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 16, 1987, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of trail easements in Carlson Center Fifth Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following trail easements be vacated. That part of the North 20 fest of Lot 1, Block 1, Carlson Center Fifth Addition, according to Document Member 4227501, Hennepin County, Minnesota. That part of the North 20 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Carlson Center Fifth Addition, according to Document Number 4227501, Nennepin County, Minnesota. That part of the North 20 feet of Lot 3, Block 1, Carlson Center Fifth Addition, according to Document Numbers 4227501 and 4227503, Hennepin County, Minnesota. That part of the North 20 feet of Lot 4, Block 1, Carlson Center Fifth Addition, according to Document Number 4227503, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember-Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliai_ Crain The following voted against or abstained: Nene Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. � �rwf
