HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-745CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of November , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain, and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk Introduced the following_ Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-745 APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT POLICY RESOLUTION NO. 75-664 AND LAND DIVISION FOR JOHNSON & SCHROEDER PARTNERSHIP (87077) WHEREAS, Johnson & Schroeder Partnership has requested approval of Variances from the Subdivision Code and Urban Development Policy Resolution No. 75-664, for the division of property by means other than platting, and the creation of a parcel in the un - serviced area of the City, located northeast of the intersection of Vicksburg Lane and Schmidt Lake Road (5230 Vicksburg Lane); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following: EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION That part of the east 462 feet of the West One -Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 118, Range 22, which lies south of the railroad right-of-way, according to the government survey thereof. To be Divided as follows: PARCEL A: That part of the east 462 feet of the West One -Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 118, Range 22, which lies south of the railroad right-of-way, according to the government survey thereof; and, lying northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence North, assumed bearing, along the west line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 1071.60 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence East to the east line of said West One -Half of the Northwest Quarter and said line there terminating. PARCEL B: That part of the east 462 feet of the West One -Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 118, Range 22, which lies southerly of the following described line. Commencing at the southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence North, assumed bearing, along the west line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 1071.60 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence East to the east line of said West One-half of the Northwest Quarter and said line there terminating. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page Two Resolution No. 87-745 FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foregoltig Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, theIroowing voted in favor thereof: 5 Ayes The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
