HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-720CITY OF PLYMOUTH ID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schne er, ouncilmem ers as ou, — Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-720 ADOPTING A POLICY RELATING TO THE PLYMOUTH GEESE TRANSLOCATION PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the initiation of a pilot geese translocation program; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a resolution to this effect; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirious of allowing geese translocation from public or private sites where funding is available; and WHEREAS, the Council directed that the policy outlining the City's position with respect to private site geese translocation be prepared. 10, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, adopt a policy relating to the Plymouth geese translocation program dated October 26, 1987. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The 7ollowing voted against or abstained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
