Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of October
1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou
Z3ttir. Crain and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
_Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-702
CALLING FOR LOCATION/DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING
COUNTY ROAD 6/I-494 INTERCHANGE
PROJECT NO. 250
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Title 23, United States Code, Section 128, a
public hearing is required to discuss the location, design features and social economic
and environmental effects of the proposed construction of an interchange at C.S.A.H. 6
and I-494 in the City of Plymouth, Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the hearing shall jointly be held by the City of Plymouth and the Minnesota
Department of Transportation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA; that a public hearing is scheduled for November 23, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers in the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota. An open house will be held prior to the hearing, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. to provide an opportunity for review of the Environmental Assessment and related
data.
FURTHER, the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing as required
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
C-n-ac.'ly mber Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the followingvoted
in favor thereof: Haar Schneider__ Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and isk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
