HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-699CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 699 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND WOODLANDS 2ND ADDITION (86059) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated May 28, 1986, the Zachary Lane Development Corporation, developer of Woodlands 2nd Addition (86059) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM Street Construction Sanitary Sewer Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevard b Drainage Swale Sod (includes Blvd. Grading on 45th Avenue) Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Park and Trail Improvements Site Grading b Drainage Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Public Private Public Private $ 49,300 -0- -0- -0- 28,200 -0- -0- -0- 28,700 -0- -0- -0- 51,000 -0- -0- -0- -0- 5,000 -0- 2,000 -0- -0- -0- -0- 300 -0- -0- -0- 3,700 -0- 370 -0- -0- 74,000 -0- -0- 19,344 9,480 44 240 TOTAL $180,544 $ 88,480 $ 414 $ 2,240 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $15,523 to $414 to reflect the completed work on the public improvements, and be reduced from $5,600 to $2,240 to reflect the completed work on the private improvements. Resu:ution No. 86- 699 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: $ 1,000 $ 1,000 Letter of Credit: $12,400 $12,400 FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted for continual maintenance as of October 19, 1987 subject to the One Year Guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: Nnne Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
