HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-696CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _regilar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: . Mayor Schneider, Councilmember Vasiliou , 7ir..r- Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-696 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND WILLOW HAVEN NORTH ADDITION(86033) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated September 3, 1986, James C Peterson Associates, Inc., and Raymond J. Syverson, Jr. and Barbara A. Syverson, developer of Willow Haven North Addition (86033), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: Street Construction $ 15,540 $ 1,554 Sanitary Sewer 5,301 530 Watermain 6,548 655 Storm Sewer 6,055 606 Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 2,000 x,800 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs -0- -0- Site Grading and Drainage Improvements 4,000 500 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 4.733 677 TOTAL $ 44,177 $ 6,322 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $22,771 to $6,322 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 87-696 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: 0 Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: $ 1,000 $ 11000 $ 7,222 $ 3,500 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _rMinri7membp;C cis,] , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
