HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-692CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reeular meeting of the City Council of the Citv of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmember Vasiliou. , Zitur, Crain and Sisk _ The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 692 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS DEVRIES 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 5, 1987, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with respect to the improvement of DeVries 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of ornamental residential street lights; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on October 19, 1987; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street lighting in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $177.15 per month. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 16th day of November 1987, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by J rnunPi1mpmhPT Sick __ , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Manor Schneider. Councilmember Vasiliou Zitur Grain and Sisk , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
