Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Gouncil of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota, was held on the 19th dad• of
October . 19 87. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, -
m ers Vasiliou =itur, Crain and Sisk
The following members were absent: None

Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
'.ESOLIIT 1ON NO. 87- 685
REJECTING BIDS FOR THE PARKERS LAKE PAVILION
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on October 13, 1987, for the construction
of a pavilion at Parkers Lake City Park, and
WHEREAS, said bids came in higher than estimated by the project architect,
Del Erickson, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that these bids
be rejected, and
WHEREP`,, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission also recommended that the
bids be rejected,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bids for the Parkers Lake Pavilion ;.s listed
below are hereby rejected:
1. David Volkman Construction Company - $412,600
2. Joe Boyer 8 Sons - $490,469
3. MG Astleford Company - $538,089
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing voted in favor ereo : Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
rain and S�Ak

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe3 and adopted.
