The following members were present: M yor Schneider, CauncilMembers Va ;liou, Zi mr,_ Crain, jWd Sisk The folio -wing members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-670 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR CRAIG SCOERBER FOR "MEADOWS OF BASS LAKE" (87059) WHEREAS, Craig Scherber has requested approval for a Preliminary Plat for "Meadows of Bass Lake" for 25 single family lots and one lot for multi -family dwellings located at the northwest corner of Pineview Lane and Schmidt Lake Road; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hear- ing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Preliminary Plat for Craig Scherber for "Meadows of Bass Lake" located at the northwest corner of Pineview Lane and Schmidt Lake Road, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense. 3. No Building Permits shall be issued until a Contract has been awarded for sewer and water. 4. Street names shall comply with the City Street Naming System. 5. Compliance with Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures in subdivisions adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. 6. Rezoning shall be finalized with filing of the Final Plat. 7. No Building Permits shall be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. S. Park dedication requirements for the area final platted as lots east of Northwest Boulevard shall be cash fees -in -lieu of dedication for those lots. The full right-of-way of Schmidt Lake Road, Northwest Roulevard and, all other street right-of-ways in this development shall be platted and dedicated with the Initial final plat. 10. All lots are deemed to be eligible for rezoning to R -1B since the Zoning Ordinance was amended relative to R-18 District standards after this application was submitted. 11. A sign, approved by the City, shall be erected at 50th Avenue North and Pineview Lane that will indicate the approved lot configuration and layout of the subdivision, including the approved alignment of Schmidt Lake Road and Northwest Boulevard. The sign shall remain in place until 95% of the initial single family development is completed. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Schneiderz_Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain 0 voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
