HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-663CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the Sth day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-663 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO 3 GLEASON LAKE DRIVE TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PROJECT NO. 602 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Preferred Paving, Inc. as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Gleason Lake Drive Trail Improvement Project, City Project No. 602 and WHEREAS, the Engineer, Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. has certified their approval of payment request No. 3: WHEREAS, said payment requires City Council approval since the amount paid will exceed the contract amount because of veriations in quantities required to be constructed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Request for Payment No. 3 in the amount of $28,282.08 to Preferred Paving, Inc. for the Gleason Lake Drive Trail Improvement Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, ULU, Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. +irk ttir tt�t r.
