Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of October , 1987. The
following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Zitur, Sisk, Vasiliou
and Crain The
following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RFSOLCTION NO. 87-661
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FXFCUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. I TO THE JOINT COOPFRATION AGREEMENT
WITH URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and the County of Hennepin have executed a Joint
Cooperation Agreement (County Contract No. 70488) for the purposes of the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program
as approved by the City Council under Resolution No. 87-553; and,
WHEREAS, that County Contract covers the period for fiscal years 198b, 1989, and 1990
(also known as Funding Years XIV, XV, XVT); and,
WHEREAS, the City has been informed that an Amendment to that Contract Is needed
pursuant to a Notice Issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development on
September 1, 1987 (CP087-10);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and City Manager to
execute Amendment No. I to the Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No. 70488.
