Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day
of October, 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Vasiliou. Zitur. Crain and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-651
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR ANr CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR
RECYCLING PROGRAM FUNDING
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has in existence a program for funding assistance to
Municipalities for Solid Waste Source Separation Programs; and
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth has applied to Hennepin County for funding of
it's Recycling Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Hennepin County to obtain said cost s;caring of the
City's Recycling Program.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilwember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmewbers Vasiliou,
Zitur. Crain and Sisk
- The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution ware declared duly passed and adopted.
