HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-649CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rejZular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-649 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS CARLSON CENTER 8TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 751 WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the improvement of the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, bituminous street and concrete curb and gutter for Carlson Center 8th Addition was duly presented to the Council on September 14, 1987; and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council adopted September 14, 1987 a report has been prepared by Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. with reference to the improvement and this report was received by the Council on October 5, 1987; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council finds and determines said petition was signed by all owners of real property abutting upon the streets named as the location of the improvement. Z. The petitioner, as owner of 100% of the property proposed to be assessed for said improvements hereby waives his right to a public improvement hearing and assessment hearing. 3. Such improvement is her�-,y ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted September 14, 1987. Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and spec4.fications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: Nor Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pas *** max* and adopted. ter*
