Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the Sth day of
October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 648
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
PHEASANT TRAILS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petitir-n has been received from the developer requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Pheasant Hills
Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Pheasant Trails
Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting,
10filed with the City Council on October 5, 1987 is hereby declared to be
signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected
thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota State
Statutes, Sections 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment
hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement
is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
conjuntion with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the
improvement is recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Zitur. Crain and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained:. None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
