HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-624CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the _th day of October , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneierd - uncIImembers as ou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk - 0 owing members were absent: None *A* Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-624 APPROVING LOT CONSOLIDATION/LOT DIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR LORRAINE: G. MAYER (87074) WHEREAS, Lorraine G. Mayer has requested approval for a Lot Consolidation/Division and Variance for property at 404 Pineview Lane North, for the consolidation of a parcel with street access and a land -locked parcel to provide frontage on a public road for both parcels; and, the variance from the Ordinance minimum lot width requirements for one lot with 49.91 ft. versus the 110 ft. Ordinance standard; the second lot would meet the Ordinance minimum for lot width; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following Lot Consolidation: Lot 16, Block 2, "Wilshire Gardens, Hennepin County, Minnesota" EXCEPT that part lying within the following described tract: That part of Lots 16 and 17, Block 2, "Wilshire Gardens, Hennepin County, Minnesota", described as follows: Beginnine at the Northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence South along the East line of said Lots 17 and 16 a distance of 190 feet to a point 90 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Lot 16; thence West parallel with the South line of said Lot 16 a distance of 194 feet to a point 156 feet East of the West line of said Lot 16; thence North parallel with the West line of said Lots 16 and 17 a distance of 70 feet to a point 120 feet South of the North line of said Lot 17; thence North- easterly to a point in the North line of said Lot 17 distant 100 feet West of the point of beginning, thence East along the North line of said Lot 17 a distance of 100 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO: Lot 17, Block 2, "Wilshire Gardens, Hennepin County, Minnesota: EXCEPT that part described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said lot; thence South along the West line thereof 120 feet; thence East parallel with the North line of said Lot 156 feet; thence North- easterly to a point in the North line of said lot, distant 100 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof; thence West along the North line of said lot 250 feet to the point of beginning. That part of Lots 16 and 17, Block 2, "Wilshire Gardens Hennepin County, Min- nesota", described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence South along the East line of said Lots 17 and 16 a distance of 190 feet to a point 90 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Lot 16; thence West parallel with the South line of said Lot 16 a distance of 194 feet to a point 156 feet East of the West line of said Lot 16; thence North parallel with the West line of said Lots 16 and 17 a distance of 70 feet to a point 120 feet South of the North line PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 87-624 of said Lot 17; thence Northeasterly to a point in the North line of said Lot 17 distant 100 feet West of the point of beginning; thence East along the North line of said Lot 17 a distance of 100 feet to the point of beginninq. To be divided as follows: PARCEL A (NORTHERLY PARCEL): That part of Lot 16 and Lot 17, Block 2, WILSHIRF GARDENS, Hennepin County, Min- nesota, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 16; thence North along the east line of said Lot 16 a distance of 90.00 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence West, parallel with the north line of said Lot 17 a distance of 195.00 feet; thence North parallel with the west line of said Lot 16 a distance of 20.21 feet; thence West, parallel with the south line of said Lot 16 a distance of 155.95 feet to a point on the west line of said Lot 16 a distance of 110.00 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 16; thence North along the west line of said Lots 16 and 17 a distance of 50.00 feet; thence East, parallel with the south line of said Lot 16 a distance of 156.00 feet; thence northeasterly 152.75 feet to a point on the north line of said Lot 17 a distance of 100.00 feet west of the northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence East along said North line a distance of 100.00 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 17; thence South along the east line of said Lots 16 and 17 a distance of 190.00 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL B (SOUTHERLY PARCEL): That part of Lot 16, Block 2, WILSHIRE GARDENS, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 16; thence North along the east line of said Lot 16 a distance of 90.00 feet; thence West parallel with the north line of Lot 17 In said Block 2 a distance of 195.00 feet; thence North, parallel with the west line of said Lot 16 a distance of 20.21 feet; thence West parallel with the south line of said Lot 16 a distance of 155.95 feet to a point on the west line of said Lot 16 a distance of 110.00 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 16; thence South along the west line of said Lot 16 a distance of 110.00 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 16; thence East along the south line of said Lot 16 a distance of 350.00 feet to the point of beginning. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division Is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow ng voted In favor thereof: ayor, chneider, Councilmember_s_Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk the foTlo Ing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.-
