Pursuant to due call arld .notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, M€nesota, was held on Else—�Tsday of September 1987.

RESOLUTION 87-609
AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT
WITH DECISION RESOURCES, INC. TO COMPLETE THE 1987
RESIDENTIAL SURVEY FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to utilize survey research techniques to receive
resident feedback on various Issues of local importance; and
WHEREAS, in 1979, 1982 and 1985, the City commissioned the firm of Decision Resources,
Incorporated, to complete a telephone survey consisting of a random sample of 400
Plymouth residents, dealing with various issues of local concern; and
.' WHEREAS, Decision Resources, Inc., has developed a computerized data base and the
software necessary to evaluate new survey results and integrate them with previous
results; and
WHEREAS, the City Council Is desirous of maintaining the high quality residential
survey services provided by Decision Resources, Inc. in the past;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and it hereby does, authorize the City Manager to negotiate
an agreement with Decision Resources, Inc, to complete a residential survey as set
forth In the Manager's memorandum dated September 16, 1987 at a cost not to exceed
$7,500.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded hu

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
