Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the st day of September , 1987.
The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Zouncilme ers as ou, Mur,
Crain and Sisk

Couneilmember Sisk Introduced the following Resolution and moved Its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-608
APPROVING A RECYCLING PROGRAM PUBLIC RELATIONS PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, the Council directed that staff prepare a comprehensive promotional plan
intended to promote voluntary participation and positive incentives for meeting the
City's recycling goals; and
WHEREAS, such a plan has been prepared and the City Council has reviewed the plan and
conc::rs with its contents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the Plymouth Recycling Program
Promotion Plan, as set forth In the staff report dated September 15, 1987;
AND FURTHER, does direct the City Manager to proceed with the Implementation of said
plan.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken t ereTi on, Me
was declared duly passed and adopted.
