HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-602CITY OF PLYMOUTH -- Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reeular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of Se�tombar 1987. The following members were present: Dtayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou Zitur Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: Nane Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-602 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING JAMESTOWN ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents of the Jamestown Addition requesting installation of additional ornamental residential street lighting in the Jamestown Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Jamestown Addition. Additon by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on September 21, 1987 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjuntion with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement is recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Iauncilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted ilt favor thereof: ?favor Schneider.
