HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-601CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City _- Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of S2Rtember , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Sr_ hneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur. Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-601 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPOLT AND ORDERING PROJECT STREET LIGHTING - QUAIL RIDGE OF PLYMOUTH 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted August 4, 1987, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of Quail Ridge of Plymouth 2nd Addition by the installation of ornamental residential street lights and this report was received by the Council on September 21, 1987; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council finds and determines that said petition was signed by all owners of real property abutting upon the streets named as the location of the improvement. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted August 4, 1987. The petitioners have waived their right to a public hearing. 3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for these improvements. He shall coordinate the work which will be done by the Northern States Power Company. 4. The estimated cost is $72 per month and will be adjusted based on the Northern States Power rates, and will be billed monthly on the sewer and water bill. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Grain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
