HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-566CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of September , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-566 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT CARLSON CENTER 8TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITIES PROJECT NO. 751 WHEREAS, the developer of Carlson Center 8th Addition has petitioned the City to install 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the proposed improvements be referred to Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such as improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur. Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained:. None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
