The following members were present: Q Schsleider_1_-__ Louncilmem ers Vasiliou. Zitur. Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-561 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR DELINQUENT WATER, S9WER AND STREET LIGHTING AND ANNUAL STREET LIGHTING FOR UNIMPROVED PARCELS .i WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 18.271 M.S.A., the City Forester of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and removal of diseasejl trees on certain lands within said City, and a determination has been made that certain charges thereto have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount of such work amounts to $130,259.74. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01 THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The amount of delinquency to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $128,898.53 and the amount of the street lighting is hereby declared to be $1,361.21. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the Director of Finance, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed as provided by law; and the clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
