HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-552CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of August , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur. Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmgmber Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-552 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY A PORTION OF REVERE LANE TRENTON PLACE IST ADDITION - OUTLOT "C" WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Oscar Naustdal has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street right-of-way vacation: Right of way easement over that part of premises lying 25 feet on each side of the following described line: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the above described Parcel; thence West along the North line thereof a distance of 71.00 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 2° 29' 05" East a distance of 30 feet, thence Southerly along a curve concave to the West, having a central angle of 7° 56' and a Radius of 504.74 feet, a distance of 69.89 feet, thence South 5' 26' 55" West, a distance of 245 feet, thence Southerly along a curve concave to the East having a central angle of 7° 50' 44" and a Radius of 1166.63 feet, a distance of 159.75 feet, thence South 2" 23' 49" East a distance of 417.35 feet and there terminating, and A Temporary easement for constuction purposes over, under, across and through that part of the above described parcel lying 40 feet on each side of the above described line as granted in Document No. 5098994. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 21, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ;ouncilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
