HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-511CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the Jrd day of Au u�st� , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schne eerr,-Zouncilmembeers Crain, Tesiliou, Zitur and Sisk e following mem ers were absent: None Counciimember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-511 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AMERIDATA SYSTEMS, INC. FOR "PLYMOUTH LEARNING CENTER" (87055) WHEREAS, AmeriData Systems, Inc. has requested a Conditional Use Permit for "Plymouth Learning Center" to operate a day care service at 10200 51st Avenue North for AmeriData employees as well as other employees in this industrial park; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for AmeriData Systems, Inc. for a Conditional Use Permit for "Plymouth Learning Center" to operate a day care service at 10200 51st Avenue North for AmerlData employees as well as employees in this Industrial park, subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordirinces, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. 2. The permit is issued to AmeriData Systems Inc. as operator of the facility and shall not be transferable. 3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 4. There shall be no signage allowed on the property relative to the use. 5. A copy of the current State license shall be provided prior to issuance of the Permit and shall be kept on file with the City. 6. Compliance with applicable Building and Fire Code requirements shall be verified by the City prior to Permit issuance. 7. The facility shall only be available for people who are employed in the industrial park. The industrial park Is bound by County Road 18 on the east, the Soo Line Railroad on the north, Schmidt Lake Road on the south and the western edge of Ryan Business Center on the west. Page two Resolution No. 87-511 8. The permit shall be renewed in one year to assure compliance with the approval. At the time of the renewal, a list of parents, whose children use the daycare service, including their place of employment shall be provided. The address of each place of employment must be submitted with a statement verifying that each place of employment is located within the boundaries of the industrial park described by Condition No. 7. 9. The daycare service will occupy no more than 2,000 sq. ft. of the building. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the rollriw nq voted n favor thereof: ayor 5chnelder, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, Zitur and Sisk Ine rollowlnq voted against or abstained: None hereupon the Resolution was declare+ duly passed and adopted.-
