HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-508CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of Au ust , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schne eco r, Zouncilmem ers Crain, asiliou, Zitur and Sisk The following mem ers were absent: None Councilmember Zitur Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-508 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR WAGNER SPRAY TECH FOR WAGNER ADDITION (87030) WHEREAS, Wagner Spray Tech has requested approval for a Rezoning and Preliminary Plat for Wagner Addition for three industrial lots northwest of County Road 6 and I-494 (1770 Fernbrook Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hear- ing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Preliminary Plat for Wagner Spray Tech for Wagner Addition for three industrial lots located northwest of County Road 6 and I-494 (1770 Fernbrook Lane), subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense. 3. No Building Permits shall be issued until a Contract has been awarded for sewer and water. 4. Payment of park dedication fees in -lieu -of dedication In accordance with the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of issuance of Building Permit. 5. Street names shall comply with the City Street Naming System. 6. Rezoning shall be finalized with filing of the Final Plat. 7. No Building Permits shall be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. 8. In conjunction with, or prior to, the submittal of a final plat application, a site plan for the existing industrial buildings must be submitted to reflect the revised parking layout. 9. Easement documents for shared drives between the existing Wagner building on Lot 1 and the property to the north; also, between Lots 2 and 3, shall be submitted for review by the City Attorney. Legal descriptions of the vacation of existing road easements and a petition for the extension of watermain to County Road 6 will be required prior to approval of the final plat. 11. No yard setback variances are granted or implied. 12. Private drive access shall be limited to internal public roads and prohibited from Fernbrook Lane and from County Road 6; in accordance with the General Development Plan, there will be one shared access to Fernbrook Lane for Lots 2 and 3 immediately opposite 17th Avenue. 13. The existing house, barn and garage located oi, proposed Lot 3 shall be removed from the site prior to October 3, 1987; appropriate financial guarantee and agreement shall be submitted to assure this. All structures shall be kept secure until removed. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the o ow ng voted in favor thereof: a or chneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, Zitur and Sisk The o ow nq voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
