Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of July , 1987. The
following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Zitur, _
Vasiliou and Sisk
fol owing members were absent: None
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 97-501
APPROVING TEXTUAL AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE GUIDE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth proposed textual amendments to the Land Use Guide Plan
Element of the Comprehensive Plan by deleting the R1 -B (Low Density Residential
District) from the Corresponding Zoning Designation in Living Area - 2 (LA -2); and,
adding the RI -B (Low Density Residential District) to the Corresponding Zoning
Designation in Living Area - 1 (LA -1); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled
public hearing and has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the textual amendments to the Land
Use Guide Plan Element of the Comprehensive Plan by deleting the R1 -B (Low Density
Residential District) from the Corresponding Zoning Designation in Living Area - 2
(LA -2); and, adding the R-18 (Low Density Residential District) to the Corresponding
Zoning Designation in Living Area - 1 (LA -1).
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
CouncilmgmberSisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Crain Zitur, Vasiliou
and Sisk The following
voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
