The following members were present: Mayor Schne17e-r—, rounc I I members crain, tur, Vasiitou and Sisk The following members were absent: None waw ..# aaa Couneilmember Zitar introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION 87-491 A RESOLUTION AUTHOpi11NC PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY IN THE 1987 HENNEPIN COUNTY HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION PROJECT WHEREAS, Hennepin County is sponsoring a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Project on September 26, 1987; and WHEREAS, the County has asked for the City's participation in providing a site and volunteers to staff the project; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of assisting the County in diverting hazardous materials from solid waste land fills in order that they be properly recycled. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota that it should, and hereby does, authorize the City's participation in the Hennepin County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Project under the supervision of Helen LaFave and Dick Pouliot, and does hereby make available the northwesterly upper level parking lot at Plymouth City Center Building for this purpose for September 26th and 27th, recognizing that the County is responsible for any and all liability which may arise as a result of this project, and FURTHER, that the City's participation in this project is conditioned upon the City's ability to recruit SO volunteers required to staff the project.
