Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day
of July , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councitmemhers Crain, Zi tijr, Va ci t inn anti Sick
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-486
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
DEEP WELLS NO 8 AND 9 PUMPING FACILITIES
PROJECT NO. 625
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Deep
Wells No. 8 and 9, Pumping Facilities and all necessary appurtenances, bids
were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

A 6 R Construction 260,000.00
Richmar Construction 261,620.00
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that New Mech Companies of Lauderdale, Minnesota is
the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with New Mech Companies of Lauderdale,
Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction
of Deep Wells No. 8 and 9, Pumping Facilities according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the
low bid of $257,700.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Zitur. Vasiliou and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
