HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-475CITY OF _- YMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of July 1987. The following members were present: Mayor SchneiderZ Councilmembers Crain, Zitur. VasiliQu and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk _ introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-475 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING COUNTY ROAD -6 WATER STANDPIPE WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for cleaning, repairing and painting County Road 6 Water Standpipe; and Company Total Bid Enterprise Decorating $49,461.00 Rainbow, Inc. 59,559.50 Odland Protective Coatings, Inc. 64,144.00 Tenyer Coatings 65,925.00 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Enterprise Decorating of Minnetonka, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Enterprise Decorating of Minnetonka, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for cleaning, repairing and painting County Road 6 Water Standpipe in the amount of $49,461.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Zitur, Vasiliou and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
