Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of

The following members were absent: none
COuncilmember Sisk . introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 473
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR AN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City has previously determined the need for an Information
Management System (I.M.S.); and
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for proposals for an I.M.S.; and
WHEREAS, eight proposals were received offering to provide an I.M.S.; and
WHEREAS, the City staff and the City's consultant have recommended that six of
the proposals be eliminated because they were not offering to provide many of
the applications requested in the RFP, and therefore, were not responsive to
the RFP; and
WHEREAS, Unisys Corporation/Systems Consultants Inc. proposal provided the
lowest monetary cost to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Unisys Corporation/ Systems Consultants Inc. proposal best meets
the criteria set forth in the RFP;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Unisys Corporation/Systems Consultants
Inc. for an I.M.S. system in the amount not to exceed $507,121.
2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all proposers the deposits made with their proposals,
except that the deposits of the successful proposer and the next
lowest proposer shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
