HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-469CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of July , 1987. The following members were present: _�Nafnr Srhnpider. Cnuncilmemhe_rs Crain, Sisk. Zitur and Vaciliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 469 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND QUAIL RIDGE OF PLYMOUTH 2ND ADDITION (87021) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated April 20, 1987, Cenvesco, Inc., developer of Quail Ridge of Plymouth 2nd Addition (87021), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYNwTk that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 65,390 $ 65,390 Sanitary Sewer 46,361 -0- Watermain 38,806 -0- Storm Sewer 33,795 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 7,400 7,400 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 150 150 Site Grading and Drainage Improvements See Grading Permit No. 9762 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 23,028 8,753 TOTAL $214,930 $ 81,693 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $214,930 to $81,693 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 87- 469 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: $ -0- $ -0- Letter of Credit: $ -0- $ -0- FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED Lhat the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer con- struction is accepted for continual maintenance as of July 6, 1987 subject to the One Year Guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ma.or Schnpi Pr, Cnunrilm_Qmh_orS Crain, .
