Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Rpgular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the Fth day of

Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 456
AWARDING BID FOR 1987 STREET IMPROVEMENTS
TYRELL ADDITION, CITY PROJECT NO. 530
SWAN LAKE ADDITION, CITY PROJECT NO. 539
14TH AVENUE b OLIVE LANE, CITY PROJECT N0. 642
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the 1987
Street Improvements (Project No's 530, 539 and 642), bids were received, opened
and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

Valley Paving
Alber Construction
Alexander Construction
Preferred Paving
Hardrives
C.S. McCrossan

WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous of Buffalo, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into the attached contract with Buffalo Bituminous of
Buffalo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
improvement of the 1987 Street Improvements project according
to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur .and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk. Zitur and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
