"Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Couucil of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day
Of July , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-443
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
CERTAIN UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
LOTS 1 THROUGH 4, BLOCK 2
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage
easements in Scherer Industrial development; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July
6, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of July 6, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 6, 1987 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said easements; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following utility and drainage easements be
vacated:
That part of the North 6.0 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Scherer Industrial
Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West
of the East 6.0 feet.
That part of the North 6.0 feet and the South 6.0 feet of Lot 2,
Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West
10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet.
That part of the North 6.0 feet and the South 6.0 feet of Lot 3,
Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West
10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet.
That part of the South 6.0 feet of Lot 4, Block 2, Scherer Industrial
Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West
of the East 6.0 feet.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider Coinrilmerntiorc Crain
Sisk_ Zitur and Vaciliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
