Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of June s 19 87• The
following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain.
Sisk Vasiliou and Zitur The
following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the followinq Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87-424
btNIAL OF VARIANCE FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR DIVISION OF EXISTING PLATTED LOT FOR
BRUCE HERTZENBERG (87017)
WHEREAS, Bruce Hertzenberg has requested approval of Variances from the Subdivision
Code to divide a platted lot creating two lots that are less the Ordinance minimum lot
size requirement (18,005 sq. ft. and 18,144 sq. ft. versus 18,500 sq. ft.) on land
located at 115 Quaker Lane North;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request based on the following:
1. Compliance with the variance criteria has not been established.
2. The requested variances would establish an undesirable precedent.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _
Mayor Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou and Crain
The following
voted against or abstained: Councilmembers Zitur and Sisk Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
