Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of
June , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor c nel er, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasillou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 87- 414
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 011-001
BASS LAKE PLAZA AREA AND
HARRISON HILLS - SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION - PROJECT 630
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted November 19, 1979, and
May 9, 1986, reports have been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b
Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvements of:
Bass Lake Plaza Area - South of County Road No. 10 and West of
County Road No. 18
Harrison Hills Sanitary Sewer, Extension West of Nathan Lane and
South of County Road 10.
WHEREAS, the proposed projects include install.ati-)n of sanitary sewer,
watermain, and all necessary appurtenances, including previously installed
trunk sanitary sewer and watermain; and
WHEREAS, said reports were received by the Council on February 4, 1980 for
the Bass Lake Plaza Area and on June 25, 1986 for the Harrison Hills
sanitary sewer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed that the Consulting Engineer revise and
update the project report for said Bass Lake Plaza Area; and
WHEREAS, said revised report dated April 8, 1986, was received by the
Council on May 5, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvements of such project in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Law
of 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of
the improvement of $254,253.
2. A public hearing should be held on such proposed improvement on
the 6th day of July, 1987 in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m.
and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
