Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of ,lune , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Zitur and Vasiliou
Thelowing members were absent: none
fnuncilmPmher 7itur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 87- 409
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
1987 SEAL COAT AND CURB REPAIR
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1987 Seal Coat and Curb
Repair Program; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Company Total Bid
Allied Blacktop Company $239,320.25
Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. 284,576.97
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Allied Blacktop Company in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the 1987 Seal Coat and Curb
Repair Program in the amount of $239,320.25.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
CouncilmembPr Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Maynr SrhnPidar, Cn"nrilmemherc Crain F

The following voted against or abstained: nnnP
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
