Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the lath day
of , 1987. The following members were present:
Mayor1c9neider, Councilmembers Crain, Zilur, Sisk and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 396
DECLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING SALE
LOT 7, BLOCK 3, LARCH HEIGHTS LAGOON 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth purchased Lot 7, Block 3, Larch Heights Lagoon
2nd Addition for the construction of a future street; and
WHEREAS, the City has approved a plat known as the Pine Ridge Addition which
provides for this future street; and
WHEREAS, there is excess property from said Lot 7 after removing the street
right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the remainder of the property has been platted as a lot within the
Pine Ridge Addition, and where it is in the beat interest of the City to
transfer ownership of the remainder of the property to the developer of the
Pine Ridge Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: as follows:
I. That Lot 7, Block 3 Larch Heights Lagoon 2nd Addition is hereby
declared as surplus property.
2. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter
into a purchase agreement and execute a deed transferring
ownership of the property to Scherber, Bonine, Scherber
Partnership, the Developer of the Pine Ridge Additior
3. That the purchase price of the property is $25,000, and is
subject to the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
- Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
