HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-384CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due gall and notice thereof, a regular mre•tinn of tLIv City Council of the Clty of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the day of `Jeune . 19 81 The foliowiny members were present.: Mayor Schneider, Councilmem e� r Crain, tisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The followinq members were absent: none ! * i i f • * * M Councilmember Sisk introduced the followinq Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 384 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THF CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND PLYMOUTH PARK, SEWER AND WATER, STREET, AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUINCIPAL EMPLOYEES, COUNCIL 14 (AFSCME) FOR 1987 WHEREAS, In accordance with the Mlnnesota Public Employee Labor Relations Act,repre- sentatives of the City and AFSCME representing Plymouth maintenance employees with the exception of supervisors in the Street, Sewer and Water, Equipment Maintenance, and Park Maintenance Divisions have met to negotiate wades and conditions of employ- ment for calendar year 1987; and WHEREAS, through the process of negotiations, a labor aqreement has been tendered by the City and accepted by maintenance employees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the execution of a 1987 labor agreement between the City of Plymouth and maintenance employees with the exception of supervisors in the Street, Sewer and Water, Park Maintenance, and Equipment Maintenance Divisions as set forth in the staff memorandcan dated May 21, 1987. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote be�nq tekea thon, the following vote n favor thereof:ayor ne e, S eon, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
