HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-374CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Criuncil of the Citv of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Counci mem ers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resn�utinn and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 374 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - SILVERTHORNE 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Laurent Builders requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Silverthorne 3rd ldditinn NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Silverthorne 3rd Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on June 1, 1987 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and then have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. �k,k�k dhk�lr �l kek
