HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-373CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular _ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, r....nilmomharc rrain_ Risk_ Vasiliou and Zitur members were absent: r= Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87- 373 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT - LOTS 1 THROUGH 4, BLOCK 2 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, a petition has been received by the City Council for the vacation of the following drinage and utility easements: That part of the North 6.0 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet. That part of the North 6.0 feet and the South 6.0 feet of Lot 2, Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet. That part of the North 6.0 feet and the South 6.0 feet of Lot 3, Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet. That part of the South 6.0 feet of Lot 4, Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies East of the West 10.0 feet and which lies West of the East 6.0 feet. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 6, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pa
