HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-365CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, ounce mem ers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none . Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 365 AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT TRAFFIC SIGNAL - HIGHWAY 55 AND HIGHWAY 101 CITY PROJECT NO. 719 BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to wit: To remove the existing intersection control beacon and install a new traffic control signal with street lights and signing on Trunk Highway No. 55 at Trunk Highway No. 101 - Peony Lane in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 64089, a copy of which was before the Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and hereby are authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. FURTHER that the funding for the project in the amount of $2,000 be provided from the City M.S.A. Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the follovinB voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, " Vatiliou and 'Zi tun The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
