Coun,il of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day of
June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur _
The following members were absent: _ none
Councilmembers Sisk introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 354
RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
1986 REMOVAL AND DESTRUCTION OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on June 1, 1987 the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the total cost for the
destruction and removal of diseased trees on certain lands within the City as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public
inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC L OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
A public hearing shall be held on the 22nd Qay of June, 1987 in
the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon
such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons
owning property affected by such improvement will be given an
opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing
on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official
newspaper at least two weeks prior to the heariq46 and shall state
in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall
also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel
described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution we duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:Mayour Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
