HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-334CITU OF PL"WM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the ISt day of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, ouncilmemberS Urain, 51sK, Vasiliou and zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87- 334 APPROVING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT AND SIGN PLAN VARIANCE FOR "PLYMOUTH BUSINESS CENTER" FOR CROW PLYMOUTH LAND LTD PARTNERSHIP (87034) WHEREAS, Crow Plymouth Land Ltd Partnership has requested approval of a Planned Unit Development Amendment and Sign Plan Variance for "Plymouth Business Center" for directional signs that exceed the Ordinance maximum of 4 sq. ft; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Planned Unit Development Amendment and Sign Plan Variance for directional signs per plans dated March 30, 1987, April 29, 1987, and modified per information dated May 13, 1987. 1. Any other signage shall be in compliance with the Ordinance. 2. Sign permits shall be taken prior to the installation of the signs. 3. Size variance allowing directional signs with over 4 sq. ft. is based upon the finding that the unique configuration of the building and the interconnection of parking and driving areas in this MPUD warrant the proposed sign enhancements.
