Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the s day of June , 1987Tht
following members were present: Mayor Schneider,rouncilmember�rain, SiSk,
Vasiliou and Zitur The
following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 333
APPROVING MIXED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT FOR KENNETH STREETER, PLYMOUTH
HILLS SHOPS FOR "DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH" (87028) (MPUD 78-2)
WHEREAS, Kenneth Streeter, Plymouth Hills Shops has requested approval for a Mixed
Planned Unit Development Plan Amendment for "Downtown Plymouth" (MPUD 78-2) to allow a
retail center on the site approved for restaurant use, south of 34th Avenue and
Plymouth Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hear-
ing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Mixed Planned Unit Development Plan
Amendment for Kenneth Streeter, Plymouth Hills Shops to allow a retail use on a
restaurant site in "Downtown Plymouth" (MPUD 78-2), south of 34th Avenue North and
Plymouth Boulevard, subject to the following conditions:
1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum.
2. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense.
3. The amendment is contingent upon the submission of necessary zoning and subdiv-
ision applications, City Council approvals of the same, and application for and
issuance of necessary building permits for the development consistent with the
concept approved herein, within 18 months from this action.
4. A comprehensive sign program shall be included with the Site Plan so as to reflect
the entire site and to address the Ordinance requirements for multi -tenant and
centers.
5. The exterior finish of the building shall be compatible with the other buildings
In the area, i.e., brick or the equivalent.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: ayor, c ne der, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk and Zltur
