Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day
of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the Following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 87- 330
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EAiEMENT
LOT 1, BLOCK 2, WOODLANDS ADDITIC'N
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of drainage and utility_
easements in Lot 1, Block 2, Woodlands Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June
1, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of June 1, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 1, 1987 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Lot 1, Block 2,
Woodlands Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following utility and drainage easements be
vacated:
The North 3.00 feet of the South 50.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 2,
Woodlands Addition.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon. the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
