Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Citv
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day
of June , 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
ounce mem ers rain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUI.'N NO. 87- 329
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
CERTAIN UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
LOT 7, BLOCK 3 - LARCH HEIGHTS LAGOON 2ND ADDIITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage
easements in Lot 7, Block 3, Larch Heights Lagoon 2nd Additinn; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June
1, 1987 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted twe,
weeks prior to the meeting of June 1, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 1, 1937 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utility and
drainage easements, Lot 7, Block 3, Larch Heights Lagoon 2nd Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements are not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF `1`111: CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following utility and drainage easements be
vacated:
Vacation of the drainage and utility easements over and across Lot 7,
Block 3, Larch Heights Lagoon 2nd Addition, according en the plat of
record at Hennepin County.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being takes thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmeâ–ºrbers Crain, *risk,
Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
